Farid Ullah did his PhD from School ofInternational Trade and Economics, University of International Business andEconomics (UIBE), Beijing, China. He has joined School of Accounting, XijingUniversity, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China as an Associate Professor in September, 2018.His work has been published in mainstream accounting, finance and relatedjournals e.g. Business Strategy and the Environment; The Geneva Papers on Riskand Insurance - Issues and Practice; Applied Economics Letters, among others.He has so far published five (4) SSCI papers in his relevant field. He iscurrently a key member of the “Core Research Team of School of Accounting”.
His teaching interests include corporategovernance, and financial management, research methodology, empirical finance,and econometrics.
His research interests include corporatefinance, corporate governance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), andalternative startup entrepreneurial financing, i.e. Venture capital, angelinvestors, and incubator etc.
